I am Masachika Nishiura, Chief Executive Officer and Representative for Japan, Zurich Insurance Company Ltd.
I would first like to extend our sincere gratitude to our customers and partners for the unwavering support for us.

We have delivered insurance products and services more 30 years in Japan. Since the foundation in Switzerland in 1872, Zurich has expanded the operations in Europe and North America serving valued customers around the world, and we are delighted that we have taken root in the Japanese market with support from a lot of customers, and we would like to express our sincerest gratitude for it.

While values of the Japanese society and customers change and diversify, Zurich Japan has been developing unique and leading-edge products and services and building new communication opportunities with customers through new business models and distribution channels to fulfill the individual customers’ needs.
We also have ensured there are sustainable focuses on compliance, internal control and operational process improvements to support the business growth and to be a trusted global insurer in Japan.

We will continue to strive to serve retail customers with even more diversified and wider variety of products, and corporate customers with further expansion of our product offerings on the strength of our global capabilities and to deliver the “customer experience” beyond our customers’ expectations.
